English Teacher Jared Friebel wins PTO's Make a Difference Award!

The PTO's Make A Difference Committee announced today the Second Quarter winners of the Make a Difference Award! 

I'm pleased to see Jared Friebel, veteran English teacher at Hinsdale Central, among the honored.  Congratulations to all the winners!

Tian Qin is the English Department's Student of the Quarter!

I'm proud to announce that freshman Tian Qin is the English Department's Student of the Quarter.  She was selected by his ESL English 1 teacher, Hasham Bhatti.

When Mr. Bhatti introduced Tian the Student of the Quarter Breakfast this morning, he spoke about Tian's inspiring and tireless work ethic and commitment to writing thoughtfully and precisely while at the same time that she was learning English. 

Contratulations to Tian.  Hinsdale Central is a special place because of students like Tian.
